I recently turned 30 and my brother bought me a voucher for https://www.runthrough.co.uk/  so I’ve signed up to the Stratford half marathon in April 2026.

How I’m planning the run the Stratford half marathon

It’s been a good decade since I’ve run a half marathon, so I’m a little nervous about doing the race. But I’m an entirely different person now. This will be my 3rd half marathon and I’ve been running for far longer and I have a better mental strength as well as physical too!

My 10 week half marathon plan

I’ve created the below plan as I have 10 weeks (when I started this plan) to train for the half marathon. I’ve taken all the knowledge I have, and the experience I have so far to collate this structure to get me over the finish line.

The fun part is that my brother is also doing the Stratford race, but he’s doing the full marathon!

So I decided I couldn’t miss out, hence why I signed up.
