Running can be a great way to stay fit and healthy, but it can also be a challenge if you’re not sure how to carry your keys. Here are some tips to help you find the perfect way to hold your keys while running.
But in my experience, depending on how far I’m running, I often just hold them in my hand!

3. Try a Running Belt:
A running belt is a great option if you don’t want to wear a fanny pack. They’re typically made of a stretchy material and can be adjusted to fit your waist.
4. Clip Them to Your Belt Loop:
If you’re wearing a belt, you can simply clip your keys to your belt loop. This is a simple and easy way to keep them secure.
5. Use a Key Holder with a Clip:
Some key holders come with a clip that you can attach to your running clothes. This is a great option if you don’t want to wear a belt or a fanny pack.
6. Put Them in Your Pocket:
If you have a pocket that’s big enough, you can put your keys in there. However, be careful not to put them in a pocket that’s too loose, as they could fall out.

I used to run with my keys zipped in my jacket pocket, but after losing my house keys in a field on an evening run without a torch, a phone and facing the risk of being locked out the house for (potentially) days, I now hold my house keys in my hand to ensure I don’t drop them.
