Kvidio review, 5/5 from me
I’ve had these headphones for a couple of years now, and I absolutely love them. I mostly use them for running (outdoors) and in the gym. They feel really comfortable and nice and padded on my head. They completely cover my ears and aren’t too tight. I usually control the volume through my phone’s volume button, not the headphones.
Noise level
But the noise level is really good. For example even if when the volume is slightly lower, it’s still nice and clear, feels loud enough. And then when you take them off you can’t hear anything. So it’s nice to know I’m not blasting my music to the whole rest of the gym.
Pricing
I received them as a Christmas gift because my old headphones had broken, and so I don’t know how much was spent (I’d imagine less than £50-100). But they look really smart even still. I’ve got the black pair, and they’re not easy to scratch so they still look brand new.
I was quite impressed and still am with regards to how little they need charging. They came with the charger so it’s really easy to plug them, charge up for a while, and then use. In fact I can’t remember the last time I had to charge them.
Clear voice
When you turn them (And your device) on, the voice on the headphones is really clear and obvious to know if and when you’re connected.
Using the Kvidio outdoors for running
They’re really good for running and the gym. I run outdoors and I don’t feel unsafe. For example, I can take off one of the sides so I can hear the roads say if I’m going to cross etc, and it doesn’t feel tight or anything.
Look after them
The only thing I’d say to keep in mind is that if you’re sweating a lot (if you’re using them for running or intense gym workouts), is to wipe the ear piece parts afterwards so they’re a bit cleaner. Same goes if you’re using them in the rain. I’ve done this, and they’re absolutely fine so no concerns at all. You’d just want to dry them off a bit.
