There was a good car park just opposite The Bull’s Head.
We did enjoy this route but there were SO many nettles in the route and we got rather stung. But a lovely route that includes a reservoir. We ended up at The Mill Wheel hoping for food – we were ravenous after nearly 3 hours walking. But they weren’t serving food that day. The locals suggested The Bull’s Head and it was SO good. Would recommend.
Should have taken more water, it’s quite hilly at random parts with no warning! And more snacks would have been useful too. But overall lovely; and great weather too. Here’s some photos near the end!
